1. Flying to Vietnam

Most international travellers will arrive in Vietnam via one of the country’s main international airports:

  • Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) – Ho Chi Minh City
  • Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) – Hanoi
  • Da Nang International Airport (DAD) – Da Nang

From these cities, you can travel to Can Tho by domestic flight, bus, or private car.

2. Flying to Can Tho

Can Tho has its own airport, Can Tho International Airport (VCA), which receives domestic flights and a few international routes.

  • Duration: ~3.5 – 4 hours
  • Ideal for comfort and flexibility and direct to your hotel or venue. You can book a private transfer via travel agencies or ride-hailing apps like Grab, Be or Mai Linh, Vinasun.

🚌 By Bus / Shuttle Service

  • Duration: ~3.5 – 4 hours
  • Many high-quality bus companies operate from Mien Tay Bus Station in Ho Chi Minh City, such as Phuong Trang (Futa Bus) or Thanh Buoi. Tickets range from $8 – $12 USD, and buses run frequently throughout the day.

 

Getting Around Can Tho

Once you arrive in Can Tho, you can explore the city using:

  • Taxis & Ride-hailing apps: Grab, Be, Mai Linh, Vinasun and local taxi companies.
  • Motorbike rental: A great option for flexibility.
